Why I Volunteer for the Alignment Collaborative for Education

I volunteer for the Alignment Collaborative for Education because I believe that education is the foundation of a thriving community. As both a parent and a business leader, I have seen how critical it is to prepare our students with the skills and confidence they need to succeed, not just in school, but in life and their future careers.
Our work has always been centered on helping organizations and people grow. Serving with Alignment allows us to bring that same mindset to our schools. By connecting educators, employers, and community partners, we are creating opportunities for students to explore careers, gain real-world experiences, and build the kind of future-ready workforce that benefits everyone in our region.
I also volunteer because this work matters to families. Strong schools mean strong communities, places where young people want to stay, work, and raise families of their own. That’s not just an investment in education; it’s an investment in the future vitality of our entire region.
For me, volunteering with Alignment is about giving back, paying forward the opportunities I’ve been given, and ensuring the next generation has even greater ones. It is gratifying to be part of a movement that is changing lives and strengthening our community at the same time.
Best Regards,
